Long Winded People!
Hey there.... ok, I'm feeling a little moody. I'm working from home today, which makes me a little bored. Anyway did spend a great evening yesterday with lian and nes.
Ok, let's start off with the cabbie uncle who talked to me non-stop while i'm on my way to work. So "Cheong Hey" --> cantonese long winded. Really ya know. God, from the moment i stepped into the cab....
Me: hi uncle, Amoy Street please...
Uncle: ok, boy ar, which way you want to go huh? ECP, PIE or CTE?"
Me: CTE lor
Uncle: CTE slow traffic lei
Me: Oh, then ECP lor
Uncle: Ok, ECP ar, you want to exit through the expo?
Me: Anything
Uncle: Going to work ar?
Me: Ya. -->Tristan is feeling a little impatient
Uncle: what you working as huh?
Me: Market Research
Uncle: What things does your company do?
and the story goes................ all the way through ECP. Exit through Prince Edward.. this uncle kept me busy.
Uncle: Wa... then you're studying or what?
Me: I'm an intern.
Uncle: Wa.. then they are paying you or not?
Me: Ya, definitely
Uncle: Ya la, they should pay lor, to cover ur expenses. You studying in NUS or NTU?
Me: Temasek Poly
Uncle: Good la. 2 or 3 years?
Me: 3.
Uncle: At least you experience something different. Those JC like "DU SI SHU" --> Just pure studying. *No offend to those A Level students. Uncle say one, not me. wahaha
Then all the way to Amoy street. Geez....... He's the most long winded uncle i've ever met.
Anyway, clear quite a number of work in office yesterday. Boss was there, cracking a few stupid jokes. hee hee....
Nes and I went to meet lian for dinner. Feeling a little hungry le. Hui went to meet Giles. God, on the way to Suntec, there's this special corner in Esplanade where lotsa peeps practicing breakdance. They're good. Especially when i saw this guy doing head spin! Woo Hoo..........
Suntec was packed with people yesterday. I'm feeling a little giddy with the number of people there. And experiencing SLOW TRAFFIC on the way to Carrefour! Then worse, the foodcourt in Suntec was packed as well. But luckily, we managed find a place to settle down within 5 mins! Saw this Korean Stall uncle scolding his employee. Nice show! (0_0)
After dinner, lian went back to work while Nes and I went to Royal Sporting to get Nisman's shoes. Juliza was working and this stupid agnes is also another long winded aunty. Talked to Juliza non-stop. *Slap Slap*
Hmmm.. went to coffee bean to get a drink after lian knocked off. For the first time, we went to the Sky Garden. And sat there for about 15mins, before lian starts grumbling she's HOT! Talked for another half and hour and sent them back home. Coz' I am able to claim my cabbie . So why waste it man! haha. Got home, bathe and read Chicken Soup for Soul. Nice story, truly inspiring! I just started the new book on Thursday.
But i didn't really sleep well last night. I was awake at 2 plus, feeling a little warm.. "Di Di" I switched on the aircon (For your info, I don't like to sleep in aircon room)
I was half awake half asleep till 4:07am. (0_-)
Then, feeling a little cold, I switched off the aircon "Di Di" and i jumped out of bed and do a stupid thing. Charge my handphone for no reason. (-_-") Then woke up at 8am this morning for breakfast. Thus feeling a little tired now. Gotta do my work.
Wa... today's blog is so long hor. I'm deeply affected by long winded people who made my day soooo god damn wonderful yesterday! Thanksie. wahahaha. enjoy ur sunday people. Out~
